Teriyaki Time is a straightforward, no-frills spot specializing in classic Pacific Northwest–style teriyaki and Japanese-inspired dishes, located just off Andover Park in Tukwila. It’s the kind of place that resonates especially well with folks who crave hearty, savory meals after a day out or travelers stopping by Sea-Tac, thanks to its accessible location and late hours.

The atmosphere here is casual and welcoming, with a focus on efficiency and comfort rather than fancy decor. It’s a solid pick for a quick, satisfying meal where portions are notably generous. The shared parking lot can fill up during busy daytime hours, but evenings seem more relaxed, making it easier to swing by after work or a day of errands.

The menu focuses on key favorites like Chicken Katsu and Chicken Teriyaki combos, both praised for their authentic preparation—the chicken katsu boasts a crisp exterior and moist interior, coated in panko then fried just right, paired with choice dipping sauces ranging from original to wasabi mayo. Teriyaki options emphasize grilled, tender chicken breast packed with balancing savory-sweet flavors, paired with classic sides like steamed white rice and fresh cabbage. For those wanting noodle dishes, Yakisoba with various proteins rounds out the offerings without fuss, staying true to comforting, home-style flavors.

Visitors appreciate that meals come with extras like miso soup, adding warmth and a little extra comfort to the experience. Portions are substantial enough to often warrant taking leftovers home, which is a nice bonus for those on the go or with a hearty appetite.

This spot feels especially suited for locals who grew up in or around Seattle and appreciate well-executed teriyaki—something straightforward and familiar rather than gourmet fusion. It also works well for travelers connecting through the airport looking for a quick, flavorful meal that hits the regional notes just right.

Best time to visit: Early evenings on weekdays or late at night when the parking is less crowded. It’s a good fallback for a refuel stop after a long day, with friendly staff who tend to create a warm, neighborhood vibe.

Originally from the PWN, but living in Bay Area SF now. One thing I miss is the Teriyaki from the PNW, NOTHING compares to it from my experience in Cali. ----------------- After arriving to Sea Tac and getting our rental, before we started to head towards BC, we saw that this place was open late. ----------------- Good amount of parking at night, I don't know about day time as the lot is shared with other businesses. ----------------- Staff was amazing and friendly. Food - OMG... Terikyaki and katsu was amazing!!! Free miso soup!!! Price was about right and food portions were great!!! Salad and dressing were also perfect!!!! This place will be our routine stop after our flight from now on!!!

Jesus loves you!

Finally found a teriyaki restaurant that serves yummy food. The portions are generous for the price which also includes miso soup. We had to take home leftovers. We got chicken katsu and teriyaki chicken with rice and salad. So delicious. We will definitely return.

I was born and raised in Seattle. I then moved to Florida, and the Teriyaki here is terrible, it doesn't even look like this. My Teriyaki was grilled, tender and moist. I wish I would have ordered some to take back to Florida.

My husband and I are visiting from Las Vegas, NV, and we absolutely loved the food here! We’re genuinely sad there isn’t one of these locations back home, but we’ll be coming back as often as we can before we leave. If you’re looking for fresh Japanese food, we highly recommend this spot! They even offer complimentary Misu Soup when you dine in!

Crispy tender juicy full of flavor spicy chicken teriyaki. Rice cooked well, I highly recommend getting the Rice Punch drink and sip on it as you enjoy your Rice. They compliment each other. Good, kind and caring people work here. I highly recommend this place.

I had a teryaki chicken and shrimp combo, replaced the rice with salad only as i cutting down on refined carbs for now. The chicken was fresh and cooked well, the teryiaki sauce is delicious, light in flavor and appearance just as i like it. And because i replaced the rice with salad, they made sure i got plenty of salad. It took a bit longer to get the food, but it was worth the patience. Food was delicious. If you order from here, have a little patience as good food take time to cook. Unfortunately i forgot to take a picture, but i Will eat here again when i’m in the area.

Teriyaki Time was clean and had plenty of seating room when we arrived. (Lots of parking too. Pretty nice for a sunny Saturday, and so close to the mall.) We ordered chicken katsu + teriyaki chicken (breast, not thighs.) I don’t typically like the sauce with katsu, but they had 4 options for a sauce (traditional, peanut, spicy mayo, or wasabi.) I love the options! The breasts in the chicken teriyaki was flavorful and moist, I didn’t miss thighs, I didn’t have 1 fatty piece. Chicken was tender and cooked perfectly. Portions were fine, but not as large as advertised by any means. The salad was crisp and fresh. Service was exceptional. The man working was precise and friendly. No complaints! We will return.

2nd time here, and the food was good. I ordered chicken katsu again. But this time, I ordered the chicken and rice only katsu. The lady and gentlemen that were there seemed like husband and wife, and they were extremely friendly and awesome people. I may try something different next time when I'm in town for business. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
